Almotamar.net - Security source at the Ministry of Interior affirmed that the fire erupted Saturday morning in a furnishings shop in Sana'a was not caused by explosion as some media mentioned. The source said the preliminary investigations by security authorities and local authority indicated that the fire was caused by short circuit or cigarette butts.

The source clarified that the sound heard at the time of the fire was because of a Yemeni air force plane on training as it penetrated sound barrier. He has told Saba news agency that the fire caused some material loses and no casualties.
