Almotamar.net - At least eight citizens were killed and others were injured by air raids waged by the Saudi aggression war jets on al-Wazeiah district of Taiz province on Friday.

A local official said that the aggression warplanes launched two raids on al-Wazeiah district, targeting a car carrying citizens in al-Raqah area in central of the district, which led to the killing of eight people including women and injuring others.

The number of victims could rise because there are people with serious injuries, the official said.

He pointed out that the victims were targeted while they were trying to flee to a neighboring area from the intense air raids on the different parts of the district.

Another raid targeted Sukinah School in the district, leaving large damage to the school building, the official added.
