Almotamar.net - Assistant Secretary General of the General People's Congress (GPC) Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani said Tuesday the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) endure these day a state of imbalance and incapability of digesting the variables as well as their being unable to differentiate between programmed work and propaganda action.

Al-Barakani assed those parties think that mere sophism and clowning would change people or make them believe lies and slogans of the JMP parties that own nothing other than that.

Commenting on Mohammed Qahtan saying that they (JMP) would assume power from the people, in Qahtan's response to an earlier offer by president Ali Abdullah Saleh to the JMP to form the government if they were able to restore prices to their levels two months ago, Sheikh al-Barakani considered Qahtan's response as a frank confession of inability, reminding the JMP that he people granted their confidence to the General People's Congress and its leader and did not give them the power and rather taught them a hard lesson in elections of 22 September 2006.

Al-Barakani added that what they say of assuming power with the people support means they have no capability and they do not know administration of the state affairs and " we in this case challenge them by appointing the JMP's secretaries general as directors of police stations and id they were able to run them we would be the first to vote for them in the upcoming elections."

Sheikh al-Barakani said," We would have made easy for them (JMP) instead of overburdening themselves with demonstrations and sit-ins they stage these day to bother themselves and the masses of the people by handing them over the government, and we are serious in that because we endeavour to find someone who will deliver us all from world prices crisis. We in the GPC experience the harm and moreover we sense the responsibility for and before the people."

Addressing Mohammed Qahtan, member of the Islah party Higher Committee, Mohammed al-Saadi, assistant secretary general of the Islah, Ali al-Sarari and other leaders of the JMP, sheikh al-Barakani said if they possessed sound vision and did not feel inability it would have been better for them to accept the offer of forming the government and serve the people in these circumstances by returning prices rate to any month they wanted before this month of August."
