Almotamar.net - Chairman of Hadramout Chamber of Commerce and Industry Omar Abdulrahman Bajarsh revealed Tuesday that the volume of projects to be presented at the Tourist and Estate Investment Conference that will be hoisted in Hadramout exceeds the amount of $ one billion distributed over 3 infrastructure projects and 18 tourist and real estate projects.
Bajarsh affirmed that they are projects ready for investment with respect to feasibility studies, legal measures and licenses. Those are in addition to a large number of projects that would be offered by the private sector.
In a press conference held in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah Bajarsh drew the attention that the big opportunities of investment available in the governorate of Hadramout and the two neighbourly provinces of Shabwa and Mahara, particularly in the two sectors of tourism and real estate would be focused at the conference, in addition to investment opportunities in sectors of infrastructure such as the new Al-Mukalla port and the free commercial-industrial zone next to the port as well as industry of construction materials, mining sector, oil and gas, fish wealth and agriculture.
On his part the chairman of the Saudi-Yemeni Businessmen Council Dr Abdullah Marie Bin Mahfoudh focused on the importance of the project of Al-Wadia commercial-industrial zone on the Saudi-Yemeni borders on an area of 40 million square metres, 20 million square metres on each side of the borders.
