Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen on Saturday has reiterated confirmation of Yemen's stand by Sudan and its leadership especially vis-à-vis what is going on of discussion at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the situation in Darfur region.
During his receiving in Sana'a on Saturday the Sudanese Minister of Justice Abdulbasit Sidrat, the envoy of the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, the President confirmed Yemen's rejection of any form of interference in the Sudan internal affairs and under any name of pretext.
The Sudanese emissary conveyed a message from the Sudanese President al-Bashir dealing with bilateral relations and the d3evelopments in Sudan in the light of ramifications related to what was discussed at the ICC on Darfur.
The message expressed thanking and appreciation of Sudan, government and people to President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Yemen's honourable stands supporting the issues of the Arab nation and supporting the people of Sudan. President Saleh was the first among Arab leasers who expressed a courageous stand refusing the discussions going on at the ICC on Darfur in addition to Yemen's standing by all efforts exerted for the establishment of peace in Sudan.
The Sudanese President envoy informed President Saleh on the general developments in Sudan, particularly the pressures and interferences Sudan is coming under with regard to Darfur issue and efforts of the Sudanese government for the establishment of peace in the region in addition to the progress of talks the Sudanese Minister held with his Yemeni counterpart concerning the conference of Arab Justice Ministers to be held in Khartoum.
At the end of the meeting President Saleh asked the Sudanese envoy to convey his greetings and wishes to the Sudanese President and the people.
