Almotamar.net - Security authorities have completed investigations with members of the terrorist cell of Abu al-Ghaith suspected to have links with Israeli intelligence parties and they are about to refer file of the case to the criminal prosecution in preparation for members of the cell stand trial.
26 September newspaper mentioned in its issue of Thursday quoted those sources as saying that members of the cell have given their detailed confessions on its activities.
A security source had earlier made it clear that the terrorist cell that was announced t have links with Israeli intelligence was the same one whose members were arrested last month and affiliated to the so-called Islamic Jihad organisation in Yemen.
The cell is composed of six members led by Imad Saeed Ali al-Rawni nicknamed as Abu Al-Ghaith al-Miqdad al-Yamani. The cell had previously sent threats of targeting some Arab and foreign embassies in Yemen, including the embassies of Britain, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.
The security source said investigations and evidence found with members of the cell, including a computer set disclosed correspondence between one of e the cell members, the deputy leader of the cell Basssam Abdullah Fadle al-Haydari and one of the Israeli intelligence sides through which there was a demand for support for carrying out terrorist acts inside Yemen.
Security authorities had last September captured six members of the Islamic Jihad that claimed its responsibility for the attack on the American embassy that caused the death of 19 persons in thee same month.
