Almotamar.net, Saba - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar affirmed on Monday that the government would sponsor a great number of the Gaza orphans in coordination with the Orphan Development Corporation (ODC).
Speaking in the opening of the sponsorship of Gaza orphans campaign organized by the ODC, Mujawar said that the government would continue its airlift of emergency aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
"In spite of our modest economic conditions, assistance to our brothers in Gaza will never stop" the Premier said, highlighting the real care the political leadership shows in this regard.
He made reference to the several meetings, conferences and initiatives made under the Yemeni auspice, citing that "Yemen has hosted all the Palestinian factions for long times and still does with no bias to one party over the other".
Mujawar said the Palestinian case has been and still is one of the Yemeni concerns in all international events, praising the courage of the Palestinian people and its resistance in confronting the criminal Israeli brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The early preparation of Israel for this brutal aggression confirms that the issue is not to eliminate the resistance or its missiles, but more than that to develop a formula and a new map of the region serve the Israeli interests of expansion, Mujawar said.
He added that despite the declaration of the cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, Israel forces are still there that "will enhance the return of aggression at any moment and under any pretext", claiming for a complete withdrawal of the Israeli forces as a main condition for stabilizing the situation in Gaza.
He called on the Arab leaders and the UN Security Council to take up their responsibilities in ensuring the safety and protection of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories from Israel, adding that instability in Gaza would have serious repercussions on the entire region.
Prime Minister emphasized the necessity to reunion the Palestinian rank and to strengthen the Islamic and Arab unity to face the challenges encountering the security and stability of the region and the world.
