Almotamar.net - The General People's Congress GPC has said on Saturday that an influential group in the leadership of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah) has controlled the Islah party's decision ad deviated by that from the national constants and ideology the party used to claim commitment to it and defending it.

A statement issued by the General Secretariat of the GPC mentioned that a large sector of the Islah members and cadres have become marginalized and kept away from any decisions taken by the influential ones who succeeded in dragging this party towards supporting schemes of division that threatens unity and sovereignty of Yemen as well as its security and stability.

The GPC statement pointed out that the statement of the Islah Shura council has reflected reality of the crisis those influential are experiencing inside the Islah party as an extension of previous stands of wrong vision depending on destructive wrangle ways.

The GPC described the Islah Shura statement as an opportunist attempt fore identification with those elements violating the constitution ,the law and order and apostate against the Yemeni revolution of 26 September and 14 October and adopting suspicious external agendas , whether those elements of terror in Saada trying a coup against the republican system and return to the backward imamate regime or the secessionist elements in some areas in the southern provinces aiming at disintegrating the homeland and threatening the national unity and the social peace by sabotage acts , spreading anarchy and promoting for the culture of hatred among the sons of the one homeland.

The GPC statement said no politician or intellectual cannot understand the content of the closing statement of the sixth session of the Islah Shura Council as expressing the accord between the political ideology of the party but rather a flagrant expression of the contradiction and schizophrenia.

The GPC wondered about what the influential in the Islah want when they ask the authority to stop the war. They should have directed that call to some of their links in the Joint Meeting Parties so that to try to convince the terrorist elements violating thee constitution and the law to stop the war that they started the sedition in Saada and have been refusing the voice of reason and the call for peace as well as stopping the acts of killing, sabotage and aggression against the citizens and armed forces and security men, blocking roads and plundering public and private properties.

The GPC statement said the concept of partnership they want does not mean but a coup against the pluralist democracy and the people will expr3essed via ballot boxes, renewing the GPC adherence to the dialogue.
