Almotamar.net - The Shoura Council in Yemen has decided on Sunday to set up a committee chaired by chairman of the council Abdulaziz Abdulghani undertaking the task of preparation for holding the national dialogue called for by President Ali Abdullah Saaleh on 26 December 2009.
That move came in a meeting the council held on Sunday presided by chairman of the council Abdulghani, who affirmed in his address to the meeting that sitting of the parties concerned with the call of the President for a serious and responsible dialogue on the fixed day would form responsible response to a sincere call meant for interest of the homeland and emphasized the principle of the national partnership as much as its keenness on the dialogue.
Mr Abdulghani said the national dialogue in a framework of national dialogue was and will be the sole way to solve all the issues submitted in the national arena and there is no other way.
He added that, “We are a country entertaining a democratic system and it is normal that the dialogue is the convenient mechanism to decide the different issues. “
He indicated that the ceiling of the dialogue would be very high and its only limit is the constitution and hat all the issues will be put on the dialogue table and every opinion would be viewed with interest as long as it is aimed at the interest of the homeland.
Mr Abdulghani drew the attention to keenness of the Shoura Council on participation of all the parties included in the call of the President of the republic.
