Almotamar.net, Saba - European diplomats announced on Wednesday support of European Union (EU) States for the national dialogue launched by President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
During their meeting with the Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, ambassadors of Britain, France and Spain have applauded the initiative of President Saleh, which they considered as a positive step to overcome any issue Yemen suffers from.
Al-Qirbi acquainted the European ambassadors with the arrangements for the national dialogue, which would be supervised by Shura council.
Noteworthy, the preparatory committee of the national dialog announced last Tuesday delay of the dialogue for two weeks, saying that President Saleh has approved the delay, which came based on a request from the committee.
On December 14th, Saleh sent a letter to the Shura Council over launching a national dialog that should gather all political and social forces as well as civil society organizations under the constitution and national principles.
The President Saleh's call for a comprehensive national dialogue under the supervision of the Shura Council aims to address all crucial issues at the national arena.
