Almotamar.net - The governor of Amran province Kahlan Abu Shwarub discussed today with the American ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein aspects of American cooperation and support for the province in various developmental fields
Especially in areas of education, health, economy and improvement of living standards of the population of the province as it is considered one of the remote provinces that needs projects and it is of high population density.
The governor praised the American role in supporting goals of development, considering that assistance and financing of the projects of education implemented in the province, praising the US ambassador visit to the province as a strong motivation for more financing and more comprehensive support for development projects in the province.
For his part the American ambassador affirmed his government willingness to expand the areas of support for development projects in the province and to secure the needs of priority for the people of the province and determining the volume and nature of funding and assistance of priority projects that would be agreed on with the local authority in the province and its districts.
The American ambassador indicated the importance the American government gives to the education of the girl and developing capacities of the youth in the way making them effective culturally and economically.
The ambassador added that they work in partnership with the Yemeni government and the people to enhance the capacities and provide necessary services.
