Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Tuesday with leaders of the National Democratic Alliance Parties (NDAP) where there was discussion of the political developments in the national arena.

The NDAP have expressed their rally behind the political leadership and their commitment to defending the constitutional legitimacy and protection of the national gains in unity and democracy, affirming their strong denunciation of fabrication of crises and all the attempts for driving the homeland into the sedition that targets its security, stability, unity and its democratic pluralist pursuit.

The meeting issued a statement mentioning that at a delicate and decisive stage in the history of our great Yemeni people, the Higher Council of the NDAP has held its regular meeting. The meeting considered what the country is witnessing of a situation that necessitates self-denial for the homeland and building on all the positive moments in order to avoid the homeland from seditions and confrontations, and out of the national, religious, human and ethical duty towards this homeland as individuals in this social component of Yemen.

The meting discussed the issues on its agenda , the top of which are the issues and recent developments in the national arena, at the forefront of which the ramifications of the situations in the light of the attempts aimed at staging a coup on democracy and the constitutional legitimacy , through which the intention is the aborting of the revolution, the republic, the unity and expansion of the circle of chaos , sabotage , destabilization of security and stability and the damage to the higher interests of the homeland and the citizen.

The NDAP praised wisdom of president of the republic in the reasonable dealing with developments of the current situations and his patience, observing security and safety of the homeland and the citizen in general and keenness on purity of the youths and their role in reforming mistakes, flaws and soundness of the democratic practice.

The meeting also confirmed the initiatives submitted by the President are the correct way for the radical and positive change. They are as a third revolution in Yemen which President Ali Abdullah Saleh has drawn its foundations and led its march. the statement of the NDAP affirmed that they have faith that it will be better than what passed and more stability and security , which were not the demands of those that are today outbidding on the President and his march which is full of giving and achievements that transferred Yemen across the middle ages to the 21st century and through this third revolution , the sincere ones in the Yemen of revolution and unity, are keen to achieve so that the people will be able to deal with it democratically so that there will be achieved the peaceful transfer of power easily and objectively keeping our people and homeland away from disasters which are planned by enemies of the present and the future.

The statement said , “ Against all these stances and initiatives we emphasise our strong faith in continuing the peaceful and democratic struggle with the President of the republic in defence of the unity , democracy , the republic and consolidation of security and stability , affirming to our Yemeni great people that we will remain loyal soldiers for the goals of the revolution and souls of the martyrs who sacrificed for its supporting it leading to this historic great day in which there is a historical single out between the revolution and its loyal and the enemies of the revolution, the homeland and the unity . “
