Almotamar.net - Sana’a- First Vice Chairman of the General People’s Congress (GPC) and the GPC’s Secretary General Abed Rabou Mansour Hadi emphasised Thursday that the terrorist incident that targeted the President of the Republic Ali Abdullah Saleh and a number of senior officials of the state constituted a link of the conspiratorial scheme aimed to torpedo the Yemeni state and rendering the homeland to a country without a state.

In a speech to the ordinary session of the local standing committee of the GPC in the capital, delivered by Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani, Assistant Secretary General of the GPC, Hadi said that attack on Al-Nahdain Mosque reflected ugliness of the souls of the conspirators and the goals they were seeking for realizing them. He added that the God’s care foiled their endeavor by survival of the President and his colleagues and whose health condition is continuously improving and soon will return home well recovered.

The GPC Secretary General has expressed thanking of the Yemeni people and government to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extending Yemen people and government thanking to the Saudi people and government and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi crown prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz and the second deputy for the health care they offered to President Saleh and his colleagues in the successful treatment process.
Hadi has also expressed his pride of the state of cohesion reflected by the members, bases and supporters and allies of the GPC while they are facing the crisis which Yemen is experiencing for several months. Their stands and role had the great impact in aborting the conspiratorial schemes and proved that the GPC is a difficult figure in the political equation.

The GPC Secretary General has also talked the current political crisis and what some political forces are carrying out of attempts for escalating this crisis and said some political and social forces have worked for pushing all the political and economic and security situations to the point of congestion in a prelude to explode it at all levels. In parallel to that they work on closing all outlets for the peaceful come out of the crisis and stand against all attempts made for salvaging the ship from sinking , in addition to imposing and application of collective punishments on all members of the society and besieging them in their living and interests and everyday needs .

Hadi has also drew the attention to the al-Qaeda organization in Yemen taking advantage of the political crisis to control the city of Zanjibar in the province of Abyan and tries to extend towards other areas in the same province and it also plans to take control of the city of Aden, motivated by the legend of Aden-Abyan Islamic army, but the armed forces are confronting those terrorists heroically and would defeat them.

Hadi has stressed the necessity of dealing with wisdom with the crisis in Yemen and not to resort to treatments with fire.

Hadi pointed out to the efforts for solving the crisis saying “ we are trying to dismantle the elements of the crisis referring to holding several meetings with some partisan and social leaderships and it was agreed on security calming down, pulling gunmen out of the capital and the major cities , stop of attacks on pipelines and power stations , allowing travel of fuel and gas tankers , return the work of the oil pipeline as that made the state treasury to sustain $ ten million every day, hoping for abiding by those commitments and that they would not allow more deterioration of the situations or their continuation . He stressed the necessity of cooperation of all parties and the agreements with the political forces would be put into force. He called on all, especially on the Joint Meeting Parties and their allies to be supporters for the salvage before it is too late.
