almotamar.net - President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi said on Saturday that the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) has saved Yemen from many stalemates and its conclusion would be a significant historical event in Yemen's history.
During his meeting with the ambassadors of the countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative implementation, the President valued highly the great efforts and support made by these countries to help Yemen carry out the political settlement based on the Gulf initiative and the UN Security Council's resolutions 2014 and 2051.
The dialogue conference has safeguard Yemen from a lot of crises through different political, cultural and social forces set on the dialogue table throughout a period of 9 months, Hadi said.
"Various issues of the nation were discussed with full transparency to reach the desired results, which aims to preserve Yemen's unity, security and stability through a federal state, in which everyone is equal in rights and duties and based on justice and good governance."
The President expressed his aspiration that the NDC's conclusion would be an important national event in Yemen's contemporary history, pointing that great international and regional guests would attend the Conference's conclusion.
After the NDC's end, Yemen will become on the verge of a new stage at various political, economic and security levels, the President said, praising the efforts of the different forces and components who gave priority to the country's interest.
For their parts, the ambassadors hailed the President's efforts and his wise leadership of Yemen in this difficult phase, stressing the international community's support for Yemen and the President's efforts in carrying out the transition Yemen would experience through and after the national dialogue.
During the meeting, the President and the ambassadors reviewed the arrangements for concluding the NDC and the latest developments in the national arena.
