Almotamar.net - President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi said that the security disorders in the capital, Sana'a damaged the reputation of Yemen and Yemenis.
This came during a meeting gathered President Hadi on Wednesday with a number of Sheikhs, dignitaries and social personalities from Sanhan bini Bahlol and Belad al-Ross led by Sana'a Governor Abdul Ghani Hefdh Allah Gameel.
Hadi talked about a number of issues topped by security disorders, the capital, Sana'a has been suffering from nowadays, confirming that this situation causes damage to the reputation of Yemen and Yemenis due to kidnapping and attack cases carried out against nationals and diplomats from friendly countries. He said that the most recently attack was carried out against a Frenchman is Sana'a two days ago.
"This kind of coward criminal act is not related to the values and principles of our Islamic religion, it is an act targeted Yemen's reputation and its security and stability,'' the President mentioned.
The President appealed everyone to come together in condemnation of such criminal aggression and ugly act and to stand by the state and the law and order in preventing the escape of terrorist elements from roads located in the areas of Sanhan bini Bahlol and Belad al-Ross in order to end this phenomenon.
He addressed the attendants saying "I am confident that you will cooperate in an effective manner to assure the southern entrance of the capital, Sana'a because most of the terrorist acts came from this entrance.''
He confirmed that represents a hazard to the security and stability in the country and doesn't provide a suitable environment to the investments in the country.
Hadi pointed out that the international community stands by Yemen and helped the country to get out of its crisis.
"Yemeni is located in an important geographic area that represents a significant strategy at the international level to the global oil trade and economy,'' the President said.
Hadi noted to the attitude towards the military campaign against al-Qaeda militants in Abyan and Shabwa provinces, saying that army forces made a great victory against them and is going to end the battle very soon.
He stressed the importance of coming together and cooperating by all political and societal powers to combat the terrorism in the country.
