Almotamar.net - Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Habtoor sent a cable of condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel over victims of the terrorist act, which targeted a market in Berlin.

On Monday night, a truck plowed through a crowd at a Berlin Christmas market, leaving at least nine people dead and more than 50 others injured.

In his cable, the premier expressed solidarity of Yemen's leadership, government and people with Chancellor Merkel, the victims' families and all German friendly people in this painful incident, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Dr. Bin Habtoor condemned this dastardly and cowardly act against innocent people. He pointed out that the succession of terrorist operations in more than one country confirms that those who support and stand behind these terrorist acts are a single party.

He called for confirming the effective international cooperation in the fight against terrorism and ward off its growing danger to the international peace and stability.
