almotamar.net - SANAA-The General people�s Congress (GPC) expressed its extreme sorrow for the death of colleague journalist Hamid Shahra the editor in chief of Annas newspaper in a traffic accident during his return from his performance of Umra pilgrimage.

In a statement issued by its General Secretariat on Thursday the GPC considered the decease of journalist Shahra as a loss for the Yemeni press as he was a prominent pillar in his writings and management of Annas Press Establishment and his contribution to raising the standard of awareness about rights. The statement mentioned that the GPC while lamenting the one of the most prominent Yemeni journalists, it expresses its condolences to his parents, sons and relatives and his colleagues praying God the Almighty to grant all patience for his loss.
