Mohamed al-Haydery almotamar.net - SANAA-Educational report mentioned that the phenomenon failure and children truancy from their schools, dereliction of teachers in performing their profession duties cause Yemen an annual loss of more than YR 17 billion.
The report that the cost sustained due to that phenomenon during the school year 2004 amounted to YR 13.62 billion at a rise of 2$ compared to the year before it while the state annually sustains a loss of YR 4.286 billion because of the teachers negligence of their profession duties, a matter pointing out the existence of great squander of effort and finance.
The report also warned against the aggravation of the phenomenon of students failure and truancy in that type of education, indicating that growth of that phenomenon would have many negative results such as increase in unemployment rates, drop in the level of income and spread of poverty in addition to complications such problems that the country has to look for ways to solving them.
