almotamar.net - Aden, Yemen – Syrian president Bashar Assad on Sunday rapped up a 2-day visit to Yemen. President Ali Abdullah Saleh and senior Yemeni officials saw him of at the Aden International airport.


The two leaders held Sunday final Yemeni-Syrian talks at the presidential palace in Aden. The talks dealt with issues related to bilateral relations, areas of cooperation and ways to develop them and exchange of viewpoints regarding developments of regional and international issues of common interest.

The talks mainly focused on developments in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon and Somalia. Both presidents also discussed coordination of their efforts concerning Arab solidarity and activation of joint Arab action.
