almotamar.net - SANAA- An official source at the foreign ministry stated Monday that Yemen received during the past two days six Yemeni citizens who are detained in Guanbtanamo Bay prison.

In a statement to almotamar.net the source pointed out continuation of contacts with the American administration on the possibility of the remaining Yemenis imprisoned there.
The republic of Yemen has received a list of 106 persons names the United States of America detains then upon fighting terror. The Yemeni authorities continue conducting investigations to be sure of their identity whether those persons were actually Yemenis.

Until the half of last year Yemen received four detains from Guantanamo. A delegation of American lawyers and amnesty International Organisation that visited Yemen last year said there were between 150 to 160 Yemeni detainees in Guantanamo.
