Almoitamar,net - Presidents Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid Al Nahayan of the United Arab Emirates held Tuesday afternoon a closed-door session of talks at Al-Musharaf Palace.
The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation. They also exchanged viewpoints regarding developments of situations in the region, particularly in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon and Somalia as well as the Iranian nuclear file
The two leaders emphasized their keenness on consolidating and developing the relation and pushing them towards more spacious areas in service of common interests of the two countries and peoples. They have also shown keenness on coordination of their stances in the manner serving solidarity and joint Arab action especially under the present challenges facing the Arab nation.
President Saleh arrived in Abu Dhabi Tuesday on a state visit to the UAE. Before leaving Sana'a the president gave a statement to the media saying the visit was within the keenness on maintaining brotherly relations between the two countries' leaderships and for pushing the two countries' partnership and cooperation towards further areas.
