The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate has received today a memo from the Media and Culture Committee of the Shoura Council accompanied by a draft of the amended press and publications law, a source at the syndicate said.

The source added that the memo requested journalists to present their opinions through the YJS to the Shoura Council concerning the draft law so as to discuss it and forward the draft law to the parliament for debate and approval.
