The sources added that president Ali Abdullah Saleh asked the Libyan foreign minister Abdulrahman Shalqam, during his visit to Sana�a on the 11th of this month, asked him to convey a message to Col. Muamar Gaddafi asking and advising him not that Libya should not boycott the summit and that Libya can send who will represent it to the summit.

September.net has quoted the sources as mentioning that the Yemeni stance come out of keenness on healing the rift among brothers and bring Riyadh summit to success and come with resolutions enhancing the Arab solidarity and facing the current challenges facing the Arab nation.
