almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh affirmed that meetings of the Arab summit held in Riyadh are s successful by all standards.

At the end of the closed-door session Wednesday evening president saleh said the Arab leaders confirmed their commitment to resolutions of previous summits including the decision on the Arab peace initiative presented by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and approved in Beirut and thus became an Arab project that resulted in formation of a fellow-up ministerial committee.

The president added that it was the first Arab summit to be held in the KSA and �I can say it is successful by all standards.�

In a statement to Saba news agency and Al-Arabiyah satellite channel president saleh praised the wise leadership of the KSA king of the summit meetings, indicating that the Arab leaders came to the summit and the situation was tense as a result of what is going on in the Arab region but leadership of the king and his management of its meetings calmed down the souls and the decisions were more than excellent.

On the other hand president Saleh received at his residence I Riyadh Wednesday evening the Saudi assistant interior minister and they discussed brotherly relations and areas of cooperation particularly in security area. The president expressed his satisfaction for the level of cooperation between the two countries especially in the security and fighting terror, confirming what interests the kingdom interests Yemen.
