The Yemeni news agency quoted the Gulf official as saying president Saleh “has always made us used to submitting sincere stands and wise proposals at the appropriate time, whether at the Yemeni level or the national one.” He said one of his proposals is the president’s suggestion of forming a commission charted by the Saudi Arabian king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for working on healing the rift and solving Arab differences, describing it as representing a responsible national stand.
