Almotamar Net - Yemen signed a protocol on marine life diversity and establishing a network of marine protected areas in Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
The protocol would reinforce and improve regional cooperation among member countries to execute the verdicts of biological variety agreement, and to save and protect marine life.
Representatives of member countries in the Regional Authority for Protecting Marine Environment in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden signed this protocol at the head quarter of the Authority in Jeddah. Member countries are Yemen, Jordan, Djibouti, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Egypt
