almotamar.net - Head of the Yemen side in the preparatory committee for the conference on exploration investment opportunities in Yemen scheduled in Sana�a under auspices of the General Secretariat of the GCC on 22-23 April Dr Mohammed al-Maitami expected participation of more than 600 sides from the private and government sectors in the conference in addition to concerned ministers from the GCC States, donor international organisations and Arab Funds.

The Emirates news agency quoted al-Maitami as saying that 8 Yemeni and emirates companies and a Saudi one accepted sponsorship of the conference and expected the number of companies to rise in the coming days especially from the Gulf states, indicating that the World Bank has sent a group of experts to see the organizational, institutional and administrative measures for the organisation f the conference.
