Almotamar Net - A joint Chinese-Yemeni technical committee will start next January initial studies for the establishment of railway in the eastern governorates to transport minerals from mines in those areas.
The railway project will include Marib, Jawf and Shabwah, General Director of Cooperation with East Asia - Ministry of Planning stated pointing out that course of the railway will be based on the mines map.
The Chinese-funded study will cost US$ 100 thousand, and the project, along with other Chinese projects, will be implemented throughout next five years
