Almotamar.net - Yemen's Electricity Minister Dr Mustafa Yahya Bagran said as part of integration between Yemen and Gulf Cooperation Council States (GCC) it is agreed that a connection will be between Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a joint electric project.


The Minister pointed out that his ministry is paying special interest to this vital project as it will enable Yemen to get connected with the GCC states' united electric network. He confirmed with implementation of the project it will be among the important projects that will contribute to accelerate Yemen's accession to all the GCC establishments.
The minister indicated that Yemen is seeking to enhance integration in all areas with the Gulf region and the rest Arab countries as integration is the real launching pad for building a strong and united Arab entity able to face current and future challenges.
