Almotamar.net - Secretary-General of the local council of Ibb governorate Amin Ali al-Wurafi said a technical committee composed engineers was set up to investigate into damage appeared in one of the newly built roads because of rains.

Al-Wurafi added Wednesday that the committee began its field visit to the location to learn about causes of defects that appeared in the road of Ibb-Mashwara. According to reports cracks and breaking of the asphalt happened because of yesterday rainfall on the city of Ibb and flow of torrents and caused break and drifts of parts of the road sides.

He said depending on the report of the committee legal measures will be taken against the non-commitment of the implementing company of the road project to the specifications stipulated in the tender of building it.
