Almotamar.net - Deputy Premier, the minister of interior Dr Rashad al-Alimi acquainted Thursday ambassadors of the European Union countries to Yemen with the latest developments related the rebellion of elements of terror and sabotage in some areas of Saada and the efforts the state has exerted to deal with this sedition in the manner leading to spare blood.

In his meeting with the ambassadors today al-Alimi said the Yemeni political leadership under leadership of President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the government has not spared any effort they can to negotiate with them with peaceful methods. But they insisted on going ahead in their destructive scheme aimed at security and stability of the homeland.

Dr al-Alimi confirmed that the stat has provided the opportunity for all political and religious trends to practice the freedom of expression of opinion and religious or sectarian belief with peaceful methods and called on those elements for expressing their ideas beliefs by using all legitimate ways but they insisted on expressing their opinions with arms.

The deputy premier added the situation in Saada is under control and the armed forces are capable of deciding the battle at the shortest time but keenness on blood and life of the citizens, whether civilians or of armed forces or even the elements of the terrorist group is reason behind deliberation and to give a bigger space for them to surrender themselves and reconsider their conscience.

On their part the ambassadors of European Union countries showed their states' support for the efforts the Yemeni government is exerting for consolidation of security and stability. They affirmed offering necessary support and humane and medical assistance to victims and wounded as well as the migrants from the areas affected with events of rebellion.
