Almotamar.net - The first sectional the secretariat appeals court is to hold on Monday a session for trying an Arab national accused of trading and trafficking Yemeni antiquities in one of the most famous case of antiquities smuggling in Yemen for four years.
Judicial sources told almotamar.net the lawyer of the defendant Hammad Jadallah, Syrian, who is accused in the case, will in tomorrow's sitting reply to the report presented by experts at the antiquities department at Sana'a University that includ3ed detailed valuation of the antiquities pieces seized with accused in the case.
The same court reviewed on 8 last May a report by experts who were earlier entrusted with examining antiquities pieces seized with a Jordanian national accused of smuggling them in response to the defendant request to the court especially after he challenged a previous report prepared by the Antiquities authority.
