Almotamar.net - The Handicapped Society and its Al-Azeema Newspaper held Saturday an artistic party in celebration of the third foundation anniversary of the newspaper and its change from a bulletin to a monthly newspaper.

Editor in Chief of the newspaper Abdullah al-Jaafari told almotamar.net "We are proud of the media role in giving prominence of our presence and issues," adding that media men have always stood by the handicapped and reported their concerns. He expressed his confidence that in three years the handicapped society and its newspaper Al-Azeema have proved their presence and their capability of defeating disability in service of the homeland and adoption of its issues.

He pointed out that according statistics of the World Health Organisation there are 200 thousand handicapped persons in Taiz of different types of disability.
