Almotamar.net - An agreement for carrying out a project of infrastructure of the historical city of Shibam was signed Sunday in the city of Mukalla. The project grossly costs $500 thousand to be funded by the Social fund for Development, the German Project and the local authority of Hadramout governorate.

Almotamar.net learned that the experimental section of the project of rehabilitation of Shibam city would import necessary materials for networks of waters, electricity and telephone and the building of a hanger for keeping materials of the project.

The project of the infrastructure of the historical city of Shibam aims at rehabilitation of its full services at a cost of $4 million.
