Almotamar.net - Voting began Thursday evening for the election of the leadership of the Lawyers Union, Sana'a branch after the legal quorum of 350 members.

Three lawyers are contesting for chairmanship of the union including the present chairman Abdulah Ahmed Rajih.

As for membership of the union's council there are 35 contesting lawyers for 6 seats and seven lawyers are contesting for the one seat of the disciplinary council.

The 5th conference of Sana'a lawyers had Thursday morning discussed the general report and the financial report and it is scheduled that the results of elections to be announced at a late hour Thursday.
