Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office of the General People's Congress (GPC) Tareq Al-Shamy affirmed that the past ten months witnessed the accomplishment of much of the president's electoral programme according to which he gained confidence of the Yemeni people in the presidential elections held last September.

Al-Shamy mentioned implementation of some of the aspects included in the president's platform mainly what is related to fighting corruption and the formation of a committee for this purpose in addition to measures related to transparency in preparing the state general budget and developing it to be for carrying out definite and clear plans and programmes.

Al-Shamy added there are efforts exerted and actually carried out with regard to consolidation of judiciary independence as well as beginning in distributing plots of land to the youth, supporting them and providing small loans.
