Almotamar.net - The legal and technical team assistant of the committee of dialogue among political parties represented in the parliament, held its first meeting in Sana'a on Sunday. The meeting was chaired by Abdullah Ahmed Ghanim, member of the General People's Congress (GPC)'General Committee and the head of the political office. The meeting was also attended by Dr Adnan al-Jabri, member of the ministerial body, Nasser al-Attar, head of the legal office at the GPC and representatives Al-Islah, Yemen Socialist and the Unionist parties.

The meeting was devoted to discussion and approval of the legal team's work for carrying out its tasks related to discussion of proposals concerning the law of general elections and referendum based on agreement of principles signed by the GPC and the political parties represented in the parliament on 18 June 2006 and recommendations of the European Union.
