The first decree stipulated reinstatement of 114 officers at the rank of colonel, 55 lieutenant colonel, 74 major, 17captain, and 7 first lieutenant officers.

The second republican decree stipulates promotion to a higher rank of retired officers: 34 officers from colonel to brigadier general, 71 from lieutenant colonel to colonel, 50 from major to lieutenant colonel, 153 from captain to major, 73 from first lieutenant to captain, and 3 from second lieutenant to first lieutenant.

The two decrees are put into force from their date of issuance.
