Almotamar.net - Human Rights Information and Training Centre (HRITC) in Yemen organises in Sana'a next Saturday a 2-day workshop for striking an alliance between parliament and the media with the aim of enhancement of democratic changes and support for freedom of opinion and expression.

It is scheduled that participants in the workshop composed of members of parliament and journalists would review visions for the required legislative frame for strengthening freedom of opinion. They are supposed to also review testimonies from both sides on building their required alliance, its sought perceptions and priorities each party to adopt in dealing with the other party. According to the Hritc the goal is to found a strong alliance enhances role of the parliament in assisting the freedom of the media and exchange of information in a practical way beyond just proposals.
