Almotamar.net - The Yemeni Al-A'moudi Company for Contracts carrying out construction of a sea bridge in the city of Braiqa in Aden governorate has completed 80% of pillars foundations of the bridge project and 35% of the project in general during the past ten months.

Engineer Abdulwali Yahya al-Wazir, director of the project told almotamar.net that the gross cost of the project amounted to YR 900 million through local funding by the ministry of public works and roads for the lower part of the bridge and for the upper part of the bridge the Japanese government took it on itself to contribute to it with 400 million.

Engineer al-Wazir added the bridge under construction will be of two lanes, 216 meters long and 7.30 meters wide and 12 meters deep into the sea.

The project director said the bridge would have a big role in easing the crowdedness and make traffic easier for coming and going cars to and fro Braiqa and Aden refinery.
