Interior Minister, Rashad Al Alimi and visiting British State Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Kim Howells, reviewed bilateral security cooperation, mainly in combating terror within the framework of International partnership.
They also discussed the development level attained by Yemeni Coast guards and the assistance Britain could provide to reinforce their progress in protecting Yemeni territories from illegal infiltration and piracy. Talks also touched on the situation in the African Horn, notably in Somalia and the situation in Iraq and their impact on the region including exodus and instability.
