almotamar.net - The Arab Trade Financing Programme of the Arab Monetary fund on Tuesday accepted officially to finance the wheat bargain Yemen intends t import fro Syria with a sum of $70 million.
The Abu Dhabi-based Fund approved supporting Yemen with $70 million annually for renewed financing paid as $35 million every six months. Saba news agency quoted the Yemeni commercial attach� in the Emirates Jamal al-Kawai as saying the fund informed Yemen on its official agreement in a letter it sent to Yemeni minister of industry and trade Dr Yahya al-Mutawakil. The attach� also pointed out that according to rules and procedures of the programme providing the financing will be carried out through one of the national agencies accredited with the programme in Yemen or through the ministry of finance or the central bank of Yemen, id the dealing was with the public sector.
