almotamar.net - The branch of the General People's Congress (GPC) in Alexandria, Egypt held Tuesday an open meeting attended by head of the GPC Organisation in Egypt and head of the party branch in Alexandria and members of the branch cadres.

The meeting discussed organisation previous situation with regard to political, organisational and social aspects, it has also listened to suggestions of members and their problems and aspirations as well as studying the GPC's Alexandria annual plan in the light of the general programmes and plan of the branch of Egypt.

The meeting ended with emphasis on importance of sticking to national constants represented by protection of the republican system, the national unity and democracy in addition to the country's social peace and security.

The meeting also stressed the necessity of joining all forces and cooperation of all in the way serving the interest of Yemen and avoidance of aspects of dereliction in the upcoming stage.
