almotamar.net - King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia received in Jeddah Tuesday the Yemen's foreign minister Dr Abu Bake al-Qirbi who conveyed to the Saudi monarch a message from President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The message dealt with bilateral relations and areas of cooperation of the two countries in addition to recent regional, Arab and international developments particularly developments in Iraq and Palestine. It also dealt with the peace conference and the upcoming Gulf Cooperation Council summit conference and means of cementing partnership and cooperation between Yemen and the GCC states.

During the meeting the Saudi King expressed his satisfaction over the level of the strong brotherly relations and their steady development at various levels.

King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz reiterated his affirmation of the Kingdom's support to Yemen's unity, security and stability and all that realizes good and development indicting that what interests Yemen concerns the kingdom and vice versa. The Saudi king also made it clear that convening of the Yemeni-Saudi Coordination Council in Thi Al-Qida month represents an important step for pushing forward the relations and cooperation of the two countries for the good and interest of the two peoples.
The Saudi King asked the Yemeni foreign minister to convey his greetings to president Saleh and wished him good health and happiness and ever progress for the people of Yemen, praising president Saleh's stands and achievements for his people of great accomplishments in various areas.
