Dr al-Qirbi has earlier on Wednesday delivered a written message from president Saleh to the king of Bahrain Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa pertaining to bilateral relations and current situations in the region and latest developments regionally and internationally.

Bahraini news agency mentioned today that the King of Bahrain praised during his receiving of the Yemeni foreign minister the close and good relations linking the Kingdom to Yemen and confirmed keenness on cementing and developing them in all fields for the interest of the two peoples and there was also a review of current developments and issues of common interest.

The King of Bahrain asked on his part the Yemeni foreign minister to convey to president Saleh his greetings and wishes and for the Yemeni people further progress and prosperity.

Foreign minister al-Qirbi had begun Tuesday a Gulf tour with Saudi Arabia as his first leg, during his tour the minister is carrying messages to leaders of the GCC states dealing with Yemen's relations with them and regional and international developments.
