almotamar.net - Huddeida governorate security forces arrested Saturday 4 persons accused of trespassing upon a farm of fruits and vegetables belonging to investor.

Security sources in the governorate told alotamar.net that eight persons had the day before yesterday trespassed upon the farm of the Saudi investor Abdulqudous Abbas in Al-Uzairah area to the east of al-Turba village, destroying 46 date-palm trees and the farm water network, while the owner of the farm was outside Yemen.

The source added that the captured aggressors have confessed their attack and threatening of the farm workers under claim of their ownership of the land. The security source affirmed that security men were still chasing the other four trespassers at large to arrest them and send them all to interrogation and court.

On his part the Saudi investor Abbas told almotamar.net the attack inflicted losses amounting to YR 6 million and confirmed that the allegation of thee accused was groundless. He said he is in possession of official documents refuting their allegations and his project is registered with the Investment Authority. He also expressed his thanking to security men efforts in seizing attackers very soon and to send them to court.
