almotamar.net - In its meting on Tuesday chaired by the Secretary General Abdulqader Bajammal, the General Secretariat of the General People's Congress (GPC) studied the arrangements of procedures on resuming the dialogue with the parties represented in the parliament in the light of directives of president Ali Abdullah Saleh, the leader of the GPC so that to found the legal procedure as a first step as was agreed on at Aden meeting.
The GPC General Secretariat affirmed that the dialogue is open to all issues and the necessity of its continuation with the rest of poetical parties and organisations that are not represented at the parliament.
The General Secretariat also took decisions regarding development and strengthening the relations between the GPC and civil society organisations in Yemen that play a major role in enlightenment of the society and development and enhancement of various freedoms. It decided to maintain dialogue with them in the manner guaranteeing their role in the public life, in implementation of the decisions and recommendations adopted at the plenary meeting of the civil society organisations held under chairmanship of president Saleh in Taiz governorate on 4 October 2007.
The meeting of the GPV General Secretariat reviewed a number of organisational reports and took decisions about them.
