The Austrian Arab medical teams inaugurated its work Tuesday at Al Thawra hospital in Sana'a and Al Jumhouri hospital in Haja. In this regard the chairman of the Austrian Arab Physicians and Pharmacists Society Dr Mamdouh al-Khatab has made it clear that the visit is considered a Yemeni-Austrian scientific and medical meeting happening for the second time in Sana'a and considered it one of the aspects of scientific exchange between Yemen and Austria in scientific and medical field.

Al-Khatab stated to almotamar.net that the team is composed of 20 specialists in medicine specialised mainly in heart, brain, nerves, children, intensive care specializations and general medicine and the team has been divided into two groups, one at the Al- Thawra hospital in Sana'a and the other at Al- Jumhouri hospital in Haja.

Al-Khatab added that Austria offered free of charge treatment assistance to 4 cases from Yemen in this year in addition to two girl children still receiving treatment at Austrian hospitals. He affirmed that this cooperation is considered a product of the medical visits of the Austrian team.
