almotamar.net - President Ali Saleh on Saturday paid an inspection visit to the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in area of Balhaf, Shabwa governorate. The President was received there by supervisors of the project and army officers and soldiers of the project's garrison.

The president saw the ongoing work in implementing the units of this huge economic project and listened to explanation on the stages of the work in the project that exceeded 47% of the total installations of the project presented by the director of building the liquefying station in the Yemeni LNG Company.

The President also listened to explanation on progress of works in the exporting terminal and works for deepening the water basin where super tankers would anchor fro transporting the LNG exports.

Building the terminal represents an important step for activation the trade movement and receiving and exporting goods and serving citizens in a number of governorates of the eastern region especially the governorates of Mareb, al-Jawf and Shabwa.
