almotamar.net - Political parties and organisations in Yemen resumed Wednesday their dialogue meeting in Sana'a under chairmanship of the General People's Congress (GPC) secretary general Abdulqader Bajammal and the meeting was attended by the minister for affairs of parliament and shoura council Dr Adnan al-Jifri.

The meeting discussed political parties and organisations law and the elections law. It has also discussed the mechanism for activating work of parties and the way of establishing bilateral relations among them in service of the national interest and development of democracy in Yemen.

In the meeting the parties presented various visions on the issues under dialogue especially in relation to the law of political parties and the electoral system. The participants have also discussed ideas that enriched the possibility of establishing political alliances among parties.

At the conclusion of the meeting the GPC and about 15 opposition parties and organisations and parties of the national council of opposition renewed their call on the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP); an opposition alliance consisted of three parties, to take part in the national dialogue meetings among al parties of the political process.
